The end of life may be inevitable, but suffering is not. In situations of terminal illness, St. Francis Hospice helps patients and their families live every day to the fullest, restoring a sense of dignity and meaning to each person's journey.
An interdisciplinary team of professionals and volunteers works together with the patient and the family to manage pain and provide emotional, spiritual and practical support. Our goal is to promote independence to the greatest extent and for the longest time possible. Our care is provided wherever the patient calls home, or, in some cases, in a nursing home, hospital or residential facility.
